About Elite Level Golf
Elite Level Golf was founded by Jon Whithaus who has dedicated his life to developing golfers of all levels. The mission of Elite Level Golf is to assist all players in developing their skills to take their game to the next level.
Elite Level Golf offers unique instruction and camp services that provide opportunities for players of all levels.

Our staff includes Top 100 Instructors in America, NCAA National Champions, Hall of Fame Members, National Coaches of the Year, and All-Americans. Members of our staff have worked with collegiate and professional players on tours around the world, we are all eager to assiting in the improvement of every student attending Elite Level Golf camps and schools.
Director / Founder
Jon owns and operates Elite Level Golf, and is the Assistant Women's Golf Coach at Duke University. He has significant experience with players on The European Tour, The Asian Tour, The Sunshine Tour, and The Challenge Tour. (Click to view professional events)
Jon previously has served as the Associate Head Men's Golf Coach at Duke University (3 years) and the Head Men's Golf Coach at Ohio Wesleyan University (12 years). His teams have reached the NCAA Championship in 14 of those years, highlighted by 8 top-10 finishes. His teams won 51 tournament titles.
Mike began his golf professional career in 1986 and became a PGA member in 1991. He has been a primary instructor at Duke University golf camps for 17 years, and has instructed at that PGA National Junior School. During his career he has instructed thousands of people in lessons, clinics and golf schools in Oregon, Idaho, California, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Arizona, and Mexico.
Mike is an outstanding teacher with a simple, logical approach. His understanding of the mechanics of the swing, his knowledge of the game, and his ability to communicate in a relaxed, unhurried style eliminates confusion and is perfectly suited for young golfers.
Vince directs the camp operations of Elite Level Golf. He enters his 17th season as DePauw University’s head men’s and women’s golf coach.
He was named the National Golf Coaches Association’s Women's Division III Coach of the Year in 2002, 2004 and 2011. Additionally, he is a eight-time regional coach of the year selection. He has led his teams to 15 appearances in the NCAA national championship, including 9 top-5 finishes. During his tenure, 11 student-athletes have earned a total of 24 All-America honors and they've accumulated over 25 All-American Scholar accolades.
Ian Miller enters his sixth season as Head Men's Golf Coach and Director of Golf Operations at Ohio Wesleyan University. Ian came to Ohio Wesleyan after serving for 3 years as head professional at The Quarry Golf Club in Canton, Ohio. Prior to that, he was assistant professional at Plum Brook Golf Club in Sandusky, Ohio, for 6 years, and began his professional career with a year at The Heritage Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He has been a Class A PGA member since 2004, continuing his education with PGA classes and seminars on the way to a virtual graduate degree in golf. Ian was a 2-Time All-American, including a 4th place finish in the 1999 NCAA Championship. Miller has continued his playing career as well, competing in PGA Professional National Championship events in 2007 and 2009.
Over the past 25 years, André has given over 40,000 hours of private instruction. André was selected as one of the Top 50 Teachers in America by Golf Range Magazine. André is a the Director of Instructor at Gulf Coast Golf Academy, FL and at Triangle Golf Academy, NC. He is also the CEO of Mind Framing Corporation. From 2005-2008, he led a team of Master Professionals and Sport Psychologists to the successful development of the first authentic Golf IQ assessment. André’s notable awards and achievements include:

Marius Filmalter is a professional golf instructor and research scientist who has spent over two decades studying and identifying the factors that allow golfers to perform at the highest levels, in particular those that translate to the fine motor skills involved in putting. Marius has analyzed more than 54,000 professional and amateur strokes, which make up the world’s largest putting performance database to date and provides the foundation for Marius' mathematical assessment for improved putting performance, including his breakthrough discovery of the 10 characteristics shared by all great putters.
Marius’s ground-breaking presentation of his putting theories and research at the 2004 European PGA Expo in Munich, Germany transformed him from a relative unknown to the world's hottest putting commodity, and earned him partnership offers from two of the game's most respected instructors, Hank Haney and Dave Pelz. Marius chose to continue his putting research at the Hank Haney Golf Ranch for four and a half years with full access to the top players on the PGA Tour. Since 2008, Marius has split his time between travelling the major professional tours working with his various students and continuing to collect new data for his ever-growing putting database.

Sean is the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Sean has guided the program since it’s inception in 2008. He had tremendous success as he quickly elevated his program into a national power.
Honors and awards earned by Sean and his team include: 2-Time Division III NGCA National Coach of the Year, 2-Time Central Region NGCA Coach of the Year, and 5 Consecutive NCAA Championship appearances, including 3 Top-10 finishes. Sean also coached the 2012 National Player of the Year, he has guided 9 players to earn All-American honors.
